# Quoting does only work on second tap

I think that workaround was for a different problem. If I remember correctly, you reported in [The popup menu for quoting text is unresponsive on Android](https://meta.discourse.org/t/the-popup-menu-for-quoting-text-is-unresponsive-on-android/407332) that you weren’t able to select text at all. I can select text fine; my problem is that I need to click the button twice to do something with my selection. So I am quite sure these are separate issues.

But yes, I remember that topic and tried the reaction menu. It didn’t help. Reloading the site usually doesn’t help either, but sometimes it works on the first click. So there must be something.

Is there an aspect I missed that made you think this is the same problem?
