When editing User Fields at /admin/customize/user_fields
How do I re-order the list?
My existing list is in alphabetical order, so I’m certain I’ve dragged or bumped items up and down the list when adding them previously, but today my additions have been added to the bottom of the list and I see no option to re-order them.
Pretty sure you have to delete “I do not have a Republic phone”, so the list is in the right order and add it again after
This is a truncated version of a fairly long list, so it would take a lot of deleting to get the Moto E5 play into the right spot.
If we add another Alcatel phone, I will have to delete and rebuild the entire list to get them all back in order?
Did I imagine being able to re-order items in this list previously?
Unfortunately I think that at the moment there is no alternative.
Ordering them before compiling the list is an excellent move.
Okay, thank you for the response. That saves me from further hunting for something that can’t be done.
This particular list changes constantly.

I know it’s not perfect, but we decided to hold on reordering for now. In the meantime you can do this in few seconds with mostly only keyboard:
The trick is that you just have to leave something in the field.
Thanks @j.jaffeux! I’m not sure I have the mental capacity to juggle so many items when I have to add a new item in spot number 10 of a 30-item list, but that’s definitely a great tip!
I went old-school this time and reordered the list from a printed (yes, on paper!) copy! Now, if I could just find a stapler…

사이트에 모국어 커스텀 필드를 추가하려고 합니다. 필드를 삭제했다가 다시 추가하지 않고도 알파벳 순서로 정렬하여 선택이 용이하도록 사용자 필드를 재배열할 수 있는 방법이 있는지 궁금합니다. 커뮤니티가 커질수록 필드를 계속 추가하게 되는데, 드롭다운 목록이 알파벳 순서가 아니라면 언어를 찾는 것이 점점 더 어려워질 것입니다.
또한, 이와 관련하여 커스텀 사용자 필드에 조건부 로직 기능이 있는지도 궁금합니다. 예를 들어 회원이 구사하는 언어를 선택하면, 옆에 숙련도를 선택할 수 있는 필드가 나타나는 식입니다.
이 문제에 대한 해결책이 있는지 궁금합니다.
우리는 약 200개의 옵션을 가진 드롭다운 형태의 필수 사용자 정의 필드가 있습니다. 목록을 매우 자주 업데이트할 필요는 없지만, 그래도 업데이트할 때마다 번거롭습니다. 옵션 순서를 재배열할 수 있는 기능이 있다면 시간을 크게 절약할 수 있을 것입니다.
아직 생성 후 목록을 정렬할 수 있는 옵션이 없는 것 같습니다 
특히 큰 목록의 경우, 이런 기능이 있다면 좋은 개선이 될 것 같습니다.
다만 기존에 Contribute > Feature 주제에 대한 게시글을 찾았고, 요청 사항들을 함께 묶어두도록 게시글을 옮겼습니다.
