# Recommendations on setting up hybrid site

I’d like to set up a site that combines Discourse for discussions with something like Confluence for publishing a related set of articles. Similar to the typical online magazine / newspaper using WordPress with the Disqus plugin, only with better user experience and automatic troll suppression.

I could just install both on the same web server and set up single sign-on, but if there’s something easier I’d be happy to avoid all that work.

Well, you could WordPress with the wp-discourse plugin.

Unless you require that Discourse be in a sub-directory rather than a sub-domain, it’s easier to install them on different servers.
