# Recommended badge image dimensions?

What are the recommended dimensions for badge images so that one doesn’t encounter the problem described here?

I understand the current recommendation is to edit the CSS. Let’s pretend I don’t have that option and can only control what to upload. 😄

I’ve found that 50x50px badge icons work pretty well. You can go larger, but you run the risk of running over the “n posts in topic” button.
