Hetzner have emailed to customers a notice of a price rise, effective from April 2026. It might be that other providers similarly will be raising prices, as all of them will be affected by the same cost increases in RAM and SSD.
But even with the new price (not yet posted on their website), the CAX11 at €5.39 will still be cheaper(*) (and have more storage, more RAM, and more cores) than DO’s 1GB droplet at $6.
(*) actually perhaps not, given the present exchange rate. Another variable!
Edit: in fact the cost including VAT is still less, AFAICT.
I suspect there will be a series of price rises at each vendor, so the table, if updated, will only show a point-in-time comparison. Each vendor will, most likely, raise prices as late as they can, and so they might temporarily look like better value only because they haven’t yet done what they are planning to do.
