# Redis Connection Drops Every Night Between 00:15-00:30

Hi,

I’m experiencing a recurring issue with our Discourse installation: every night between **00:15 and 00:30** , the application loses its connection to Redis. This happens consistently despite running the latest stable version of Discourse and Redis.

We have checked our server logs but haven’t found any scheduled tasks, cron jobs, or maintenance processes that could explain this drop. The Redis server itself does not appear to restart during this time either.

Could you please help us identify possible causes for this behavior and suggest any configuration changes or troubleshooting steps we can take to resolve it?

Please let me know if you need any logs, configs, or further details — I’m happy to provide whatever is needed to get this sorted out.
