I have acquired ccTLD (example.jp) from Japan, and I intend to expand it to English-speaking countries in the future.

In the case of discourse, which do you think it would be better to deploy in a subdomain (en / example.jp) or get a new domain ([example.io](http://example.io))?

====

In addition, gTLD ([example.io](http://example.io)) is also operated by discourse, and if you try to expand this into English-speaking countries, which subdomain ([en.example.io](http://en.example.io)) or the new domain ([example.com](http://example.com)) do you think better?

Subdomains should work, just avoid subfolders.
