# Remove "change ownership" from the select posts menu

Now that we have a mature Merge Users functionality, and change ownership in the per post wrench menu, there’s little point to being able to change the ownership of multiple posts in a single topic at once.

Let’s take it out and clean up the code & any help topics

My call is that I think the multi is still a reasonable feature:

And Merge User, which takes out most of the use cases for multi post change ownership

We still need the selection for merge posts & move of course
