# Remove description from Pinned Global?

Pinned has the thread title displayed on the homepage but the global pinned has the thread title and part of the thread content shows as description.

How to remove the description and display only the thread title in the global pin to display just like the pinned?

You can hide the excerpt by unchecking the `show pinned excerpt desktop` and `show pinned excerpt mobile` site settings.
