# Remove mayus in active group

Is that possible? We need to rename the group to another one and then use the previous name without first cap?

Yes, this shouldn’t cause any issues. When you rename a group, the change is global - it applies everywhere.

So, if you create a new group - with the same name - that has a different letter casing, it should work too.
