# Remove members that are automatically added to a group?

Let’s say we have set a group to automatically add users with email addresses ending with “@xyz.com”.

But because certain members have left “[xyz.com](http://xyz.com)”, we want to remove those members. Removing them manually is possible but it seems that the system will automatically add those member accounts back to the group later.

How do we prevent those member accounts from being added back to the group?

You’ll need to change their email address to something other than `xyz.com` or disable their account.
