# Replace words in posts with other words doesn't work on topic titles

I was playing with this functionality and noticed the following, an example post;

And the outcome was;

Looks like this replace doesn’t work on titles. Is this intended behaviour?

I can confirm that replacing words does not work in titles. I’ve tested this on my local dev site and on my production site. My assumption is that this is the intended behaviour, but it would be great if someone else from the Discourse team could confirm that.

I can see why replacing words in titles could be useful, but wonder if it could also cause issues with topic slugs.
