# Replacing Google Search with Framasoft?

Hello,
I don’t know if I’m in the right place. I’m a framasoft user (which for me is a real google killer) and I was disappointed when I saw on the “framacolibri” forum :
There is no answer to your research, you should start a new topic or try instead to search it with… Google !!
Could we not have the choice here ? A drop down menu whith other search engines ??? Have mercy !

You should be able to use a theme component to replace Google if you so choose. See [DuckDuckGo Search Suggestions](https://meta.discourse.org/t/duckduckgo-search-suggestions/83902) for an example with DuckDuckGo.
