I’ve been accidentally clicking on “Reply as linked Topic” enough times by now to file a bug about it. ![](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/meta/original/3X/e/5/e5b93ba209b1387a6f5a1ea399655b636228a996.gif) One fix that has worked was to remove `display: block` from `.gutter .reply-new`. ---

Similarly, the topic-in-header link target reaches almost all the way to the search button, past where the notification bubble used to be.
