# Reply button is shown for restricted categories

Hi,

Although topic reply button is hidden to logged users for restricted categories for reply, it is shown to visitors ( not logged).

for this category, reply button is hidden for logged users but not for visitors.

Is this normal?

Yes this is normal behaviour. It shows users the sign up/login modal when clicked.

I’m not sure if I have explained this the best way though.
