# Reply icon on posts for all replies

When we reply on any specific post in a topic then we should always ideally see a “replied on” ↩ icon. But this doesn’t happen if we are replying for the latest post.

There is a site setting for this if you want the extra noise.

I believe that would be the `suppress reply directly below` site setting.
