# "reply-to-tab" sometimes not appearing

After I reply to someone’s post, I’m not seeing the “reply-to-tab” that appears in the upper right corner of everyone else’s replies. Shouldn’t this be displayed to the author of the reply?

It’s because the “reply-to-tab” is suppressed when you reply to a post right before your post. This is a site setting though so an admin can disable this phenomenon. Look for the setting “suppress reply directly above”.
