# Replying as a linked topic creates a second draft

Steps to reproduce:
1. Visit a topic and quote a part of a post.
2. Click the + at the top left of the composer and select “Reply as a linked topic.”
3. Add some text to the body, a title, and, if needed, select a category.
4. Post the Reply as a new topic.
5. Check your drafts at `/my/activity/drafts`.
**Expected result:** Since I posted the topic, there should be no draft.
**Actual result:** The quote that was in the composer before I chose to reply as a linked topic is still there as a draft for a reply to that topic. There is no draft for the linked topic
I would expect clicking “reply as a linked topic” to “convert” the draft instead of creating a second one. I can imagine that this was less of a problem when drafts containing only a quote were not saved.
