Continuing the discussion from Reports of user logged out twice today - related to recent auth tokens changes?:

I’ll keep this topic updated if anyone else reports the same issue on my website.

This is essentially un-fixable.

Essentially your options are:

  1. Never ever use Safari to browse while using the App to browse
  2. Don’t use the App
  3. Deal with occasional logouts.

I reported the bug to apple with a repro, but apple are SUPER slow with this kind of stuff.

I have a standalone repro that can create the problem in seconds.

The user who is experiencing the issue is only using Safari, and hasn’t used the app:

Hmmm … this is confusing, did anything change locally on his phone, can he reproduce the logouts?

My guess is some type of memory limit auto delete stuff issue. (Which includes the cookie)

Is the user tech savvy enough to do crude testing?

Possibly. Are you okay to liaise with him directly (if I’m a middleman it’ll just slow things down). If you sign up to my forum I’ll bump you to TL2 so you’re able to PM.
