# Request: API Category

Hi, I just wanted to raise the idea of having a category here dedicated to discussions about the REST API, as a place for people who are interested in consuming the Discourse API to discuss and share experience, and as a place where people who use the API can subscribe to receive relevant updates, such as the recent renaming of the /category/\* endpoints.

That sounds right. Shall I start an API discussion topic, and we can see how much interest there is?
