# Require standard profile fields during registration?

I know how to add new registration fields, and make them mandatory; however, can the “about me”, “location”, and “website” fields be made mandatory during registration? If so, how?

No, they can’t be made mandatory.
If you have strict _enterprisey_ needs for sign up & login management, your best bet is to use an specific tool for that and SSO bridge it to Discourse.
