# Require Tag to Post New Topic

Hi guys,
Is there any configuration or a way to make the tags mandatory for posting a topic?
In our vBulletin installation, we had 3 levels of categories. In Discourse, we moved the 3rd level to tags. Now from what I have observed, the tags are optional, however, I want to make this mandatory to select at at least one tag before starting a topic in that category.
The category in question is a sub category named as Car Parts in Buy/Sell/Exchange Main Category. The tags classify the items as engine, suspension, electrical, etc.

No, there isn’t a way currently to make tags mandatory.
