# Required tags when moving posts

Hello, I have noticed that a few users in the forum bypass the required tags by writing a post in another category and then moving the post. Can this be prevented?

Category tag requirements should still be enforced even when a topic is created in one category, and then moved to another category.
Do you know what trust level the users who were moving topics from one category to another and bypassing the tag requirements belong to? Are you able to share some example screenshots or additional information about the topics that were moved, and the tag requirements that exist on your categories?
Note that staff users (admins and moderators) moving topics won’t trigger category tag validation requirements, and can move topics between categories regardless of tag requirements.
