# 신고된 게시물이 삭제된 후 토픽 뱀 날짜 초기화

포럼이 바빠질수록 스팸이 더 많이 발생하는 것 같습니다. 매일 스팸 게시물을 삭제하고 있으며, 대부분은 Discourse에 의해 자동으로 감지됩니다. 커뮤니티는 해당 콘텐츠로부터 보호되지만, 토픽은 상단으로 올라가며(bump), 스팸 게시물이 삭제된 후에도 여전히 상단에 머물러 있습니다.
솔직히 말해, 상단으로 올라간 게시물은 사용자에게 방해가 됩니다. 관리자들은 날짜 데이터를 수동으로 복구할 수 있는 도구를 가지고 있지만, 게시물 상단 이동(bump) 날짜를 자동화하지 않는 것은 아쉬운 점으로 보입니다.
Discourse는 시간이 지남에 따라 일부 기능에 대한 입장을 변경해 왔지만, 과거에는 이 아이디어를 강력히 거부한 바 있습니다. 2021년에도 여전히 같은 입장이며, 이 기능을 요청할 수 없을까요?

고맙습니다 @codinghorror. 이전 논의들을 보면 이 주제에 대해 편견이 있으시다는 것도 잘 알고 있습니다 🙂
스팸 검토와 덤프 날짜 리셋은 서로 독립적인 워크플로우라는 점을 놓치셨거나(또는 이를 괜찮다고 생각하시거나) 하는 것 같습니다. 하지만 마지막 게시물이 스팸인 경우 커뮤니티에 혼란을 주지 않으려면 두 작업 모두 필요합니다.
Discourse에서 스팸을 제거하는 데는 3번의 클릭(알림 메뉴에서 조정 작업으로 이동)이 걸립니다. 그리고 덤프 날짜를 리셋하는 데는 추가로 3~4번의 클릭이 더 필요합니다. 물론 클릭 몇 번의 문제일 뿐이지만, 포럼 규모가 클수록 왜 마지막 게시물이 주제라면 두 작업을 동시에 수행하지 않는지 스스로에게 질문하게 됩니다.
또한 잊어버리기 쉽습니다(모더레이터도 결국 사람이니까요). 커뮤니티가 고스트 덤프된 이상한 주제를 찾아 신고하는 걸 좋아하긴 하지만, 그게 Discourse의 스팸 조정에서 비롯된 결과물이라는 걸 알 필요 없이 그런 상황을 피할 수 있다면 좋겠습니다.
요약하자면, 마지막 게시물이 스팸이라면 해당 동작과 동시에 덤프 날짜도 리셋해 주세요. 모더레이터들은 감사할 것이고, Discourse를 주제 정렬에 사용하는 사용자들의 혼란도 줄어들 것입니다(기본적으로 진정한 사용자 활동 순서대로만 정렬되니까요).

고스트 범프(ghost bump)는 유용하다고 생각합니다. 왜냐하면 스팸이 유입되기 쉬운 주제(_spam magnets_)가 무엇인지 모든 사람에게 알려주기 때문입니다. 따라서 그런 주제들은 닫히는 것이 적절합니다. 그런 주제들을 위로 끌어올리는 것은 분명히 기능(feature)이며, 스태프는 그런 범프에 관심을 기울여야 합니다. 고스트 범프가 2~3번 발생한다면, 그 주제는 닫아야 한다는 신호로 볼 수 있습니다.
말씀하신 내용을 설정 항목으로 만들 수 있다고 생각합니다. 다만 기본값은 꺼져 있어야 합니다. @sam, 어떻게 생각하시나요?

스팸 자석(spam magnet)이 실제로 존재한다는 점은 이해합니다. 하지만 요즘에는 모든 포럼 게시글이 대상이 될 수 있습니다. 이 글도 꽤 오래 열려 있는 상태인데, 우발적인 고스트 범핑(ghost bump)이 발생하면 디스코urses 모더레이션에 대한 익숙함에 따라 커뮤니티에 혼란을 줄 수 있습니다.
어쨌든 모더레이터는 가장 잘하는 일을 할 것입니다. 스팸 처리 시 게시글 제목을 확인할 수 있고, 도움이 된다고 판단되면 게시글을 닫을 수 있습니다.
마지막 게시글이 스팸이었다면 범핑 날짜를 자동으로 수정하는 기능은 모더레이터의 업무를 절반으로 줄여줄 뿐만 아니라, 더 넓은 커뮤니티에게 더 나은 카테고리 목록 경험을 제공할 것입니다.
귀하의 워크플로우는 탄탄합니다(별개의 작업으로 구분). 하지만 선택할 수 있다면, 특히 봇에 대한 대응 시 클릭 수나 페이지 로딩이 줄어들기를 원하실 것이라 확신합니다 🙂
