# Responsibility for members you invited

This is probably the dumbest idea ever but … has anyone ever tried the following.
- You have a closed server. Invite only
- Users have a reputation (points)
- When a user invites someone to join their reputation is tied to the person they invited so.
- if the new member gets minus points the person that invited them gets minus points as well.
Just an idea. Sure an admin can kick off a bad person but if you’re rep is tied to your friends reps then maybe there’d be some incentive for the person that invited to take responsibility (ask friend to stop being a jerk. Be the one to un-invite them, …)

This already happens to some extent, everyone you invite is permanently attached to your profile page on the invites tab.
