# Restore Plugins

Hello everyone,  
I am going to backup all data and want to create a new discourse instance. I have used 3 different plugins in my existing discourse. Is there any way that I can also restore my plugins with with discourse instance?

Copy your current app.yml to the new site. It has the plugins and smtp configuration.
