# Aus Backup wiederhergestellt, aber E-Mail deaktiviert?

Ich mache täglich ein Backup und kopiere die Daten täglich vom Server für mein Forum. Das ist gut, denn die VM ist hart abgestürzt. Kein `ssh` und auch nach einem erzwungenen Neustart keine Besserung. Also wurde eine neue VM hochgefahren und eine neue Discourse-Installation durchgeführt. Und die Wiederherstellung aus dem Backup war erfolgreich.
Ende des Wiederherstellungsprotokolls:

Aber ich sehe ein Banner, das besagt: `Outgoing email has been disabled for non-staff users.` und sehe das auch im Protokoll.
Was ist da los?

Nach der Wiederherstellung ist die E-Mail vorübergehend deaktiviert, während Discourse synchronisiert, um zu verhindern, dass doppelte Benachrichtigungen an Benutzer gesendet werden.
Sie können E-Mails wieder aktivieren, indem Sie nach einer Stunde nach der Wiederherstellung zu den Einstellungen gehen. Dies ist im Allgemeinen unbedenklich.

Das Erste, was ich tat, nachdem ich das gesehen hatte, war, nach einer E-Mail-Einstellung zu suchen. Sie wurde nicht angezeigt. Wird sie unterdrückt, während die Hintergrund-Rake-Jobs laufen oder so? (Nur eine einzige E-Mail-Einstellung wurde damals bei der Suche nach „E-Mail“ angezeigt, jetzt bekomme ich etwa dreißig.)
