# Restrict topic summary ribbon only to admin

Is it possible to restrict the topic summary view to only the admin level (or higher trust users?)

Why would you want to restrict this? It is only a summary of what is in the thread anyway

Simpler user experience. My audience is 50-65 year olds and I need to keep this as simple as possible.

The easiest way is to just hide this button for everyone:

```
.map.map-collapsed nav.buttons {
    display: none;
}

```

My audience is a bit older too - but then they don’t click on it, surely? It is not a requirement. Has someone specifically objected to it?

I think your best option here is @Stranik’s suggestion above. It makes no sense to restrict access across the board.
