Hey there dear forumists.
this is going to my first posting on here but I’ve been here several times before as a visitor. So I know how to use the searchfunction and did use it ahead of opening this thread since I couldn’t find anything related to it.
In our forum we had a discussion about if and how we could visibly reward users filing extraordinary good threads or answers and someone came up with the idea of having a kind of crown or laurel wreath around their buddyicon for and on that special contribution.
Is such a thing possible at all… and if yes how?
I would be very happy if someone could get me into the right direction where to search.
So thanks in advance for every helping comment.

Hey Jimmy – I think you’re asking if someone’s avatar can be decorated in a specific way on one post only, is that correct? If so, that’s not possible because the same avatar is applied to all posts by the user. Have you considered awarding a custom badge instead?

Perhaps the [Solved](https://meta.discourse.org/t/discourse-solved/30155) plugin? Then there are badges like Solved, Guidance Counselor, Know-it-all and Solution Institution to reward users with many Solutions.

Thanks @NateDhaliwal for bringing my attention to the solved-plugin, it’s always worth to have a look into that. And we do have it enabled already.
But it’s not exactly what I mean since usually it’s about solved threads/solutions. Our aim was more like give this “very good thread”-reward to someone who like filed a very good thread that exactly fits our needs (we have an answer-template underlaid and we really need these details we’re asking for. most of our users don’t care [we’re working on this in te background]).

not yet, tbh. But as I think that we have wonderful awards it seems that nobody seems to really care about those. But none-the-less it’s a good idea to talk about in the team.
