# RSS feed not showing up

Hi, this is probably a total noob question. (I’ve searched the forum, please point me to a previous thread w/answer, if I’ve missed it!)

I’m using this url:

[https://forum.sundayschoolwinesociety.com/latest.rss](https://forum.sundayschoolwinesociety.com/latest.rss)

but nothing is showing up; I’m getting this message.

The forum appears to be private. Maybe that’s why?

Aaaaah. Yes, it is private but Wordpress site I’m trying to use the RSS feed for is part of the same private membership community—they share a SSO. Shoot! Wonder if there is any way to make it work…???

Did you ever figure out a solution? I’m trying to figure out how to make the latest.rss feed useable for a private community. Is there a way? Thanks!

I was thinking you might be able to pass an API key in the headers, but on my site it looks like making a forum section private removes the RSS feeds, even when I log in: “That page doesn’t exist or is private.” (I didn’t try with an API key.)

Hmmm… interesting. I get the feed page but it only displays when logged in so RSS readers can’t use it. I wish there was a way to do this so members could use the feed.
