# .rss latest and hot appear the same?

We are using both the ‘hot’ and ‘latest’ rss feeds on our forum for some simple distribution of topics to wordpress.

Here are the feeds:

> **[Mamapedia™ - Latest topics](https://www.mamapedia.com/latest.rss)**

Now, when we use the RSS reader on wordpress to display these two feeds, _the results look identical_. That seems odd…

The hot and latest pages on discourse do not look identical, the ordering of the topics is different which is what we would expect.

I realize this is technically asking about how something looks on ‘wordpress’ - but it seemed so simple that it was worth asking.

Maybe we are missing something obvious here?
