# Run custom ads?

Hello all, Im thinking about creating a forum around a very specific niche user and only specific ads would be relevant. Is it possible to select which ads you want running on your forum?

You would either:

- make a new ads plugin from scratch
- add a new ads provider to our official plugin: [Discourse Advertising Plugin (Ads)](https://meta.discourse.org/t/advertising-plugin-for-discourse-serve-ads-on-your-discourse-forum-official-endorsed/33734)
- manually enter custom ads in HTML
