# Search adds topic

I think this is very similar to [Search adds username](https://meta.discourse.org/t/search-adds-username/295023).  
When you visit a topic and start searching from there, if your search string starts with a category and you click to start the search, the “search in topic” is activated.

Using a real keyboard, I use the enter key. But on my tablet, my finger is already close to the search modal.
