# Search - allow / highlight two letter tags (current 3 letter search minimum is a problem)

In one of my forums, and here in [meta.discourse.org](http://meta.discourse.org), we use the #ai tag a lot.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t show up in Search. This is what you get:

I can understand that we don’t want to process a whole bunch of two letter search terms. But it would be very nice if tags started to appear from two letters onwards.
Of note, we use the same workaround as [meta.discourse.org](http://meta.discourse.org) (including the #ai in the sidebar)

I use `#ai` to search for topics tagged with ai. That’s 3 characters long.
