# Sections for category settings?

We have at least 20 settings in an individual category at this point, and I’ve found myself searching for lesser-used settings by _reading the entire list_.

Should we break these settings up into groups? This makes for easier scanning (if you know you’re not looking for an email setting, skip the email section) and also provides some guideposts (e.g., “Subcategory display settings are in category settings under appearance”).

God yes this whole area is a disaster at the moment, so any kind of superfund cleanup site emergency triage we could do would be excellent 🏥 😷

I merged some changes in last night. Plugins need to carry their own headers when adding settings, so I’ll update our official ones today/tomorrow.

I also normalized the widths of inputs/labels because while it’s not necessary to have all that space for some of them, it should be faster to read without drastically varying widths.
