# Seeing two banners for subcategories

The white banner is created by Discourse when you add a category logo in the image settings of the category.

Unfortunately, this banner isn’t hidden when you enable the category banners component.  
This was reported before in [Default category heading not hidden when category banner is used](https://meta.discourse.org/t/default-category-heading-not-hidden-when-category-banner-is-used/327519)  
In the second post of that topic, you will find CSS to hide the default banner on your forum
