This is a minor #Contribute > UX bug report for the feature implemented in [Ability to Select Multiple Unread Topics and Mark as Read](https://meta.discourse.org/t/ability-to-select-multiple-unread-topics-and-mark-as-read/89308)
The selection checkboxes should not be visible, if one leaves the selection process by switching to tabs where this feature is not available.
