Hello,
Im looking to self host a forum for my community. But im wondering if someone could do it for me. I dont want to spend any money on it. Ive spent all morning looking for something to work out but I cant. Can anyone help?

While Discourse is Free Software, you still need the hardware to run it on. That usually costs money, but there are several cheap options ranging from $5 a month.
Some cloud providers do provide free trials that may run Discourse, albeit quite slowly.

That doesn’t sound like “self” hosting. But if you search around here for Oracle, I think you’ll find that it’s possible to self-host there for no cost for the VPS. You’ll still likely pay for mail service, though.
