# Send pms sends site message, but doesn't email it

I have a community that mostly communicates via mailing list mode.
I have enabled automation to Send pms (A welcome message) when a user is added to TL0. The Pms sender is my Admin account.
**Result:** The PM gets sent to the user on site. The PM is not forwarded by email to the user.
**Expectation:** PMs sent to users via automation should also receive PMs via email.
**Problem:** I have a welcome message that doesn’t get read and also a few reminders and notifications that also don’t get read, because users expect email and don’t login regularly/ever.

I have since confirmed (at least on my end), that if the Delay is set to “0”, it will not send an email when using “added to TL0 as a trigger”.
> But if the delay is set to =\>1 minute, **it does send an email.**
