# Sent 560 PM, none is viewed

But I’m thinking, when a user registers on my site, the default setting for receiving e-mails is “Never send me an e-mail when I receive a personal message” Is this the case? Because if so, that explains my problem. I sent personal messages. But no email was sent except for people who changed this default setting in their profile. Do I understand how this works?
