# Set points setting + redemption

I want to set up a function for accumulative points redemption in the forum.
Users accumulate points through posting.

Hey zj cloudray,
This is not possible at the moment in Discourse. This is more plugin territory. There have been some previous [#contribute:feature requests](https://meta.discourse.org/t/can-we-have-a-point-system-or-do-we-have-to-use-plugin/50120) but I’d be looking at a custom job in #Marketplace
However, Discourse already has a way to reward users for posting etc through badges. As you can see in the topic you can customise and create badges.
