# Set post image in twitter card to large by default

Apologies if this is a stupid question but is it possible to set the images that’re displayed in a Twitter Card, in a tweet, to large ([X Developer Platform - X](https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/tweets/optimize-with-cards/overview/summary-card-with-large-image)) by default?

Twitter is picking up the images from our posts without any issues but they’re being displayed as this size, alongside the description -

rather than this size, above the description (the same image, uploaded to Medium)

the larger images stand out more in the twitter feed.

I’m still hoping for the ability to [customize twitter cards for each thread](https://meta.discourse.org/t/opengraph-and-twitter-cards-markup-for-a-topic/85239/7), but this would at least be a start.
