# Setting to manually close AI Helper's popup modal

My users have noticed that the AI Helper’s popup box is a bit finicky when it comes to trying to select text within it. Sometimes they only want to select a portion of it (as opposed to using the copy button) yet it seems to be slightly buggy and automatically closes itself whenever they try to highlight text. This happens on Chrome browser (on Windows) and on Safari, however it works perfectly fine on the iPhone/iPad app.

**Hence, my feature request:**  
Could we get a plugin setting which gives us the option to force the user to have to manually close the popup, for example via an “x” in the corner or something like that? It would completely sidestep this issue! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Other than that, everyone is in love with the AI Helper so splendid work!

Thanks for the request! I’ve moved this to #Contribute > Bug, because we do want it selectable always. A setting won’t be necessary here.

I pushed out a fix:
