# Sharing a Data Explorer Query

As an admin, I write a [Data Explorer](https://meta.discourse.org/t/32566?silent=true) query. From that query, I can administer the groups with access to it.

But if I just copy/paste the URL from the query itself to share, my target audience gets 403’d because what I see is the admin/edit URL and they don’t have _that much_ access.

So to share my query, I have to go to

Groups → [target group] → Reports → [scroll through randomly(?) ordered list] → [click on report] → Copy/paste _that_ URL 😮‍💨

How about either making the admin/edit URL view-only to non-privileged users or giving me an easy “get the URL” button on my admin UI?
