# Sharing base link when multiple posts fails

Hi there,

I dont know if this is a well-known bug, but everytime we share the link into communication channels it fails to open - it says page-not-found.

The trick until now has been to add a `/1` every time shared, and that seems okay. Still, maybe its just the configuration we have done that is bringing up the problem.

Version: 3.6.0.beta2-latest

So something like:  
 → `https://meta.discourse.org/t/sharing-base-link-when-multiple-posts-fails/389621`

doesn’t work but:

→ `https://meta.discourse.org/t/sharing-base-link-when-multiple-posts-fails/389621/1`

works?

Could you update your forum (if possible) or disabling plugins to test? Perhaps it’s caused by a plugin.

@pomodoren were you able to figure this out? Can you share an example of a link that is not working? Feel free to send it to me directly if you don’t want to share it here.

Hi, sorry for the delay - I havent had time to go through the process of:

- deactivate all plugins
- install latest
- retry.

Will do asap and update here too.
