# Show that a post came from another topic?

Hi,

Is there a way to show that a moved post comes from another topic? On the origin topic we have something saying “A post was merged into an existing topic: xxxx” but on the destination one the post is just moved.

I’m wondering if there is a way to show something like “the post came from another topic: …”

There are no plans for this at the current time.

If a mod feels it is important to note that, add a staff note to the topic either before or after the move.
