# Sidebar causes words jump when toc disappears

When the toc disappears and the sidebar is not collapsed, the width of the post changes.

If I’m not wrong, this should just be a feature by design?
toc needs a certain, additional minimum width, but if this part of the width is not folded when the toc disappears, it will cause a waste of space.

Without the sidebar, so with more space, the second post always looks like the one with sidebar and toc. So with sidebar there is less space, but as soon as the toc disappears the post width is greater than without sidebar. I don’t get why that should be a feature. If you are reading the second post and suddenly all words change their position, you need to start reading again.
