Sidebar spacing change?

This looks very much like it did before you updated the plugin today.

How does your example look if there are 2 links that need two lines next to each other? I used Community wiki > Administrators for my screenshots because there are more entries with longer titles.

There is slightly more space in this screenshot. We would need to dynamically add block padding on rows higher than one line of text which I don’t think is a very good use of time.

Here is another view with line-clamp: 1, but removing the icons as they are quite unnecessary.

Lastly, here is an example without icons & a decreased font-size. I am kind of in favor of this, but also fine with just removing icons to help give the text more space.

the aligment without icons is quite bad tho and breaks the pattern we use in every other sidebar

Yeah, making this a special case I think would be detrimental in the long term. For now, I will leave as is with the line-clamp. For sites who really wish to have long titles, changing the clamp should be easy by targeting:

.discourse-docs-sidebar-panel .sidebar-section-link-wrapper .sidebar-section-link-content-text {
-webkit-line-clamp: _;
}
