# Sidekiq queue too large - Google email provider problems

If you are using Gmail as a general outgoing SMTP mail provider for Discourse you are absolutely in violation of Google’s terms of services, and I’m surprised it works _at all_.

We repeatedly tell people not to do this in the setup docs, and elsewhere.
