# שאלה פשוטה לגבי סגירה אוטומטית של נושא

If the topic is set to be closed in a day, does it close after 24 hours or at a random given time during the day it was set to.

Let’s say you set it to close on saturday and you set it at Friday 5:00 PM GMT+0 time.  
Will it be closing 24 hours from the time it was set at? (On Saturday 5:00 PM GMT+0) or is it completely randomized?

How are you setting the timer? If you use the 🔧, and then “set topic timer”, you should see the precise time in the dropdown:

If you’re using a date very far in the future, you can mouseover the date to see the precise time (that works for most dates in discourse)
